How does ticketing work? How much to tickets cost?
Tickets for our regular season (September and October) tours are $150-170 per person.
Tickets are released in 4 waves.
Wave 1 = Group Sales. For Groups of 6 or more, contact us via email at [email protected] .
Wave 2 = VIPs - If you have ever ridden with us, you were added to our VIP mailing list. Be sure to add us to your safe senders, or you'll miss your updates.
Wave 3 = Waiting List - Get on the mailing list HERE.
Wave 4 = General Public - It is very unlikely that we will make it to Wave 4 as tickets will likely sell out during Wave 2 or 3.
If you wait for Wave 4, please don't email us or message us that you missed out. Get on the mailing list! We promise, we don't sell or share your information and we won't spam you. We only email about future events.

How does the tour work?
Pretty simple. Pick from any of the tours. Buy your ticket. Meet at the Pick Up point. Ride the bus. Have fun. Check out 3 of the top haunts in Chicago. Have some drinks. Win some prizes. Get a behind the scenes tour.
How long is each tour?
It depends on the tour. See the tour info for details, but we operate on what we call "Haunter Hours." Most pickups are around 5:30/6:00 (the same time the actors are getting to most of the haunts) and we finish around 1:30/2:00.
Where do you pick up from?
We pick up and drop off at our featured haunt for the night. This year's featured haunts are:
- September 28, 2023 - Joliet Prison
- October 5, 2023 - Realm of Terror
- October 12, 2023 - The Catacombs
What should I bring with me?
- Our tour lasts a LONG time, so eat before you come or bring something on the bus.
- This event is BYOB. So, bring your own beverages as long as they aren't in a glass container.
- Coolers should fit in your lap or under your chair (we're on a conventional school bus, so space is limited).
- Haunts are not clean... Wear CLOSED TOE SHOES and comfortable clothes. We won't pay your laundry bill if you get fake blood, makeup, or dirt on your fancy clothes.
- CASH!!! We will have raffles on the bus, plus the haunts have all sorts of cool swag (shirts, stickers, patches, etc). If you don't want to buy anything, at least give Brewster and Terry a tip... They work hard.
Is this "family-friendly?"
I guess it depends how messed up your family is... If you all like haunted houses and love to have fun, then this is the event for you. However, if you are boring, you should stay home. If by "family-friendly" you mean, "Can I bring my kids?" Then our answer is, No... sorry. We will be serving alcohol on the bus, so you MUST BE 21+.
Yay!!! I get to be a drunken asshole!!!
If you are overserved and become belligerent, disruptive, or are unable to walk independently, you will be asked to leave and will be responsible for getting your own transportation back to your vehicle. You will not be admitted to any haunted houses if you are ejected from the bus.
Lost Souls is a welcoming community. Any derogatory comments regarding race, gender, or sexual orientation is grounds for immediate removal from the tour. You will be responsible for getting your own transportation back to your vehicle and will not be admitted to any remaining haunted houses on the tour.

What qualifies you to run an event like this?
Our team has been working for haunted houses over 20 years each. Japes Palles has managed some of the biggest and best haunted houses in Chicago, as well as acting in every major haunt in the area. Check out his resume HERE. Terry has done makeup and acted for several of the biggest haunts in Chicago, and is currently on the makeup team at Massacre Haunted House in Montgomery, IL.
